About Understanding and Analyzing Financial Statements:I enjoyed the seminar and feel that it was extremely beneficial to me. I plan on attending a follow-up course also. Seminar was well done. Instructor was knowledgeable and informative. He did an excellent job of presenting information in a way that made an otherwise boring subject fun and interesting. Very well done! Very knowledgeable, excellent teacher who brought to life an otherwise potentially dry subject with humor and simplicity. Thanks for a great two days! He made the class interesting and not boring. Great teacher! About Modern Financial Analysis:Great seminar overall! All topics were extremely relevant in my day-to-day responsibilities. Probably the best seminar I've been to in a long time. It provided a useful review of my MBA finance courses. Instructor and materials were clear and concise. The pace was very good as well. The course has taught me how to actually analyze using different methodologies rather than just theory. The template disk is very helpful. I found this seminar to be a great review and update of timely issues in financial analysis. Enjoyed the instructor's style and open manner. He kept our attention through a complex and sometimes dry subject matter. Very good information. Knowledgeable speaker who was a pleasure to listen to for 16 hours - no small task. Great instructor - extremely knowledgeable, but did not "talk down" to us. Made boring process of analysis exciting. Terrific sense of humor. Class time seemed to fly. Will return to job with a greater understanding of concepts, and with much more confidence in abilities. I'm a good accountant, but as I've moved through my career, I've needed to know more about finance. This is just what I've been looking for. My husband attended about three years ago and still talks about it. When I got the brochure at work, I knew this was the same seminar. The seminar material reinforced and refreshed many of the analyses I've been asked to do and gave me additional tools to prepare these analyses quicker and in a cleaner format. Excellent two days. About Mergers, Acquisitions and Business Valuation:The course gave me a good foundation and understanding of M&A deals - start to finish. One of the very few seminars I've attended that held my interest throughout. The Instructor has the knowledge and the personality to handle both basic and complex questions without straying from his central thesis. He is ideal for this type of forum and he did a great job! Instructor was insightful and provocative. Excellent! Great information...took the mystery out of consultants' work and figures. About Basic Business Valuation:Provided valuable insights and tools for business and asset valuation. Mark did a superb job, had excellent presentation materials, explanations, and real life examples. Thank you! [The seminar] provided valuable insights and tools for business and asset valuation. [This seminar was] very beneficial. The valuation techniques explained insights from practical experiences in [the] field. Excellent course! About Understanding the Controller's Job:Excellent class. I am taking many new ideas and skills back to the office. All of my expectations were satisfied. Thank you for the detailed financial models and planning approaches. Lots of good info. to go out and work with. Good breadth of coverage of issues pertaining to [the] controller's role, but not overwhelming. Miles Hutchinson was very energetic and interesting regarding the topics. Provided many tools I needed but was unaware of (as well as resources). A wonderful seminar. I have been well informed on many different areas to implement in my office. Thank you. Thought Miles was a great instructor. [He] helped me to expand out my thinking from just the tasks at hand. Helped me to focus on more of the big picture. Instructor was lively and kept [the] group involved. Miles was an entertaining speaker. He kept things interesting by relating real life experiences to topics in the course. The speaker was energetic - [he] made the seminar seem more personal. You wanted to say in the seminar through and longer. Full of information that is useful in all situations. I received the information needed to be a more effective person with my work, my clients, my personal life... About Broken Accounting: What Went Wrong and Why:[The instructor] provided good resource materials. Practical examples of firms with accounting issues. This seminar increased my knowledge and awareness of how to present more meaningful financial information. The instructor has a very engaging manner and I enjoyed the interactive discussion. This seminar looked at the quality of earnings from both analytical and honest viewpoints I have not heard expressed in other seminars. Very interesting and enlightening seminar! Mirrors current economy! Good long term and short term application. Instructor [is] very personable, and has diverse knowledge. It helped me to level the playing field in terms of knowledge on this subject, with the finance staff at our corporate parent. About Modern Engineering Economics:Please visit this section again. About Modern Financial Modeling:Please visit this section again. About Strategic Planning:[The instructor] is very good at transferring information - the teamwork exercises are very helpful. I liked the examples. I can use these concepts & ideas to support controller changes. The Instructor was very well equipped for this class. She did an excellent job addressing the needs of the group which had varying levels of background/experience. Very good presentation of tools needed to do strategic planning and good handout manual. The Instructor's examples of real business scenarios made the course content very relevant. Great seminar! About Project Management:Gave me new tools to apply in everyday work and life. I enjoyed the seminar and found it very helpful. Having no background in Project Management, I feel I received a good basis for future involvement in overall planning and execution of projects in my field. I enjoyed the small, practical exercises and projects. They were informative and held my attention. I had no idea I knew so "little" about Project Management. Great! Thank you!
