What are the necessary prerequisites for each seminar? What are the necessary prerequisites for each seminar?"Understanding and Analyzing Financial Statements," "Understanding the Controller's Job in Today's Environment", " "MBA for Attorneys", "Strategic Planning: Creating and Implementing the Path to Your Company's Future Growth", "Successful Project Management", and Modern Engineering Economics have no prerequisites. "Modern Financial Analysis", "Advanced Financial Analysis" and "Modern Financial Modeling" require you to have a basic understanding of financial statements and financial ratio analysis. This knowledge can be obtained by attending our "Understanding and Analyzing Financial Statements" seminar. Both "Mergers, Acquisitions, and Business Valuation" and "Understanding the Merger, Acquisition, and Business Valuation Process" require you to have an understanding of discounted cash flow concepts and techniques. This knowledge can be obtained by attending our "Modern Financial Analysis" or "Advanced Financial Analysis" seminar. "Basic Business Valuation" requires you to have a basic understanding of how to analyze financial statements and a familiarity with present value techniques. This knowledge can be obtained by attending our "Understanding and Analyzing Financial Statements" seminar. "How to Detect Manipulative Accounting Practices" requires you to have a basic understanding of financial statements and financial ratio analysis. This knowledge can be obtained by attending our "Understanding and Analyzing Financial Statements" seminar. At what time does the seminar start and conclude?On Day One, sign-in and registration starts at 8:30 AM, with the class starting at 9:00 AM. Lunch is on your own from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. The seminar concludes at 5:00 PM. On Day Two, the class starts at 8:30 AM. Lunch is on your own from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. The seminar concludes at 4:30 PM. What is the dress code?Most attendees choose to wear business casual attire. What do I need to bring with me?For all seminars we request you bring your confirmation letter. If you registered late and have not yet made payment, please bring your invoice and a form of payment (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, check or money order). For "Understanding and Analyzing Financial Statements", "MBA for Attorneys" and "Modern Engineering Economics" we also recommend you bring a calculator. For "Advanced Financial Analysis", we recommend that you bring a laptop computer. We reoommend that you bring a calculator, if you are not proficient with your laptop calculator functions. For "Mergers, Acquisitions and Business Valuation" and "Understanding the Merger, Acquisition and Business Valuation Process" a financial calculator is recommended. Should I bring my laptop or will one be provided?Although the instructor may use a laptop for the presentation, laptops are not required for attendees. Nevertheless, if you have a laptop and would like to bring it, feel free. Please keep in mind, however, that electrical outlets and telephone jacks are not available. Our "Advanced Financial Analysis" course is the exception to this rule, as we encourage attendees to bring a laptop if possible. This course has been designed with individual laptop use in mind. What is covered on Day One? Day Two?If you already have a brochure, please refer to the agenda listed. In general, the first half of the material is covered on the first day and the remaining information is presented on Day 2. What should I do if I have not yet received my confirmation letter?We make every effort to process registrations as quickly as we receive them. However, please keep in mind that confirmation letters are processed within 3 days of receipt of payment. Will I get any materials before the seminar?Materials are passed out the morning of the seminar starting at 8:30 AM. Confirmation letters are sent in advance. If for some reason you require the materials before the seminar, there will be an additional charge of $30.00 for shipping and handling. Please note that pre-payment is required and the materials are non-refundable. When is the Early Bird Deadline?If you have a brochure, it can be found on the lower half of the registration page, underneath "Payment Method". Where is my VIP#?Your VIP# is to the left of your name on the mailing label of the brochure. It is usually a three to five digit number. If you need additional help locating this number, please call the registration department at 800-635-9615 and one of our representatives will be glad to assist you. What does my VIP# do?Your VIP# authorizes either the Multiple Registrant Discount (if two or more individuals from your organization will be attending), the Early Bird Discount (if payment is received by the Early Bird Deadline) or the Alumni Discount (if you have attended an NCCE Seminar in the past). I don't qualify for any of the discounts. Do I still need my VIP#?Yes! By entering your VIP# you are given preferred status, which could result in discounts on future NCCE seminars in your area.
